"Being part of a team to help to save a life is quite humbling and gives you pause about how intertwined we all are. What is our reason, if not helping others in their time of need? On occasion, we have to make very important decisions in chaotic situations. You have to slow down and make the most beneficial choice for everyone. I worry about not making the best choice all the time, as we all do. Keeping your head clear in chaos is key for all of us. Watching my father handle a particularly stressful situation, where he treated everyone involved with dignity to which the outcome wasn't as we wished for but it was handled properly. I learned how to deal with conflict that day. "
